Day 1: Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai. Meeting and assistance on arrival
and transfer to hotel.Afternoon sightseeing tour
of Mumbai - visiting Prince of Wales Museum, the
Gateway of India, drive up the Malabar hill to
see the Hanging Gardens and Kamla Nehru Park.
Also visit the Mani Bhawan - a small museum dedicated
to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi.Overnight

Day 2: Mumbai /
Saputara
Morning depart by surface for Saputara via Nasik
( 270 kms). Saputara is a hill resort, known as
abode of serpents. It can serve as a base camp
for visiting various tribal villages in the area.
Visit the famous Dangi tribe considered to be
the most primitive tribal community of this region.On
arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at
leisure.Evening after dinner, witness the Dangi
Tribal dance.Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Saputara
After breakfast proceed for full day excursion
of tribal villages, visiting Limba, Kosambia and
other villages north of Saputara. Here you will
closely observe the various life styles of Dangi
tribe. On return, visit the Dangi Craft Studio
which houses the local art of Dangi Tribes.Evening
enjoy the dinner along with the tribal dance performance

Day 4: Saputara
/ Surat
After breakfast, depart for Surat ( 210 kms) enroute
stop at Ahwa, located to the North West of Saputara.
You will have an enchanting experience of confronting
more forms of life style of Dangi tribe. On arrival,

Day 5: Surat /
Vadodara
Morning after breakfast proceed for Vadodara (
160 kms)- the Garden city. This city serves as
a base to visit various tribal villages of Panchmahal
and Vadodara district.On arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon, city tour visiting the Archeological
museum, Maharaja Palace museum and Jumma Mosque.

Day 6: Vadodara
After breakfast, depart for Chota Udaipur, for
full day excursion to Rathwa and Dhanka Tribal
villages . Take a look at the interesting Tribal
market. The Rathwa and Dhanka tribes migrated
from Central India , worked as agricultural labourers
and also worshipped Hindu God and Goddess. You
come across the images of these Gods & Goddess
while walking through these villages.Overnight

Day 7: Vadodara
/ Gondal
Morning depart by surface to Bhavnagar ( 200 kms
) with enroute stop at Lothal - the famous excavated
site of Harappan Civilization Lothal is the site
of a city dating to the 2nd millennium B.C. and
is of immense significance as a settlement of
the Harappan era as well as the port. Excavations
have revealed a planned city with intricate underground
drainage system, wells, houses and baths all pointing
to an exceptionally advanced system of living.
Also visit the unique museum nearby. Continue
drive for Bhavnagar. On arrival, check in at Neelam
Bagh Palace hotel.Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Bhavnagar
/ Gondal
Depart Bhavnagar early in the morning to visit
Palitana Jain temple complex ( 62kms).The spires
of 863 Jain temples pierce the clouds on the summit
of Shatrunjay hill, capturing the essence of eternity.
The oldest temple dates back a thousand years
and the newest 150 years. An up-hill climb of
almost 3 kms, hence an early morning visit to
this place is always advisable. Continue your
journey to Gondal ( 160 kms ). On arrival, check
in at Gondal Palace. Overnight at hotel.Evening
take a tour of Palace grounds to see the largest
private collection of Vintage cars. Overnight

Day 9: Gondal /
Bhuj
After breakfast, proceed to Bhuj ( 260 kms) -
an arid land of greater Rann of Kachchh, enroute
stopping at Morbi to have a look at the town.On
arrival at Bhuj, check in at hotel.Afternoon meet
concerned authorities to procure permission to
visit the restricted areas of Kachchh. Later visit
the Kachchh Museum and also amble across the interesting

Day 10: Bhuj
Morning full day excursion of Bunny villages to
view thefamous art and craftsmanship - famous
for its handicrafts, paintings, embroidery, wooden
arts (Ludiya, Bhirandiyara, Hodko, Sumrasaar).Overnight

Day 11: Bhuj /
Zainabad
Morning depart Bhuj enroute visiting Tundavandh
tribal Rabari village - the inhabitants of this
tribe are semi - nomads who travel with their
herds of cattle in search of the fodder. Continue
the drive to Zainabad. On arrival check in at
Desert Coursers.Dinner by campfire and overnight
at coursers.
Day 12: Zainabad
Early morning Jeep Safari in Little Rann of Kachchh
to see the famous Asiatic Wild Ass. This is the
India’s second largest wild life sanctuary
which has no human population as man can not survive
due to the presence of high content of salt in
water. In the monsoon the desert blooms but in
winter it blushes ! Cacti flowers and rosy flamingoes
set the sky ablaze with their brilliant pink.Afternoon
visit nearby tribal villages of shepherds. Overnight
at desert coursers.
Day 13: Zainabad
/ Poshina
Morning depart for Poshina located on the border
of Gujrat - Rajasthan Tribal belt of Garacia tribes.
These tribes are considered descendants of Bhil
Rajputs and are known for being the most acculturated
tribe. Enroute also visit the famous Sun Temple
of Modhera built in 1012 AD - exemplifying one
of the famous temple architecture. Dedicated to
the Sun God, the temple dominates the landscape
for miles around. Its antiquity notwithstanding
- it is nearly 100 years old - it is in a remarkable
state of preservation. Outside, the pillars supporting
the structure are carved with profusion of figures,
animals and Gods and the interior is austere in
contrast, with only the rays of the Sun reflecting
the spot where the image of Sun God stood, before
invaders destroyed it. Evening arrive at Poshina
and check in at Poshina Castle.Overnight at Poshina

Day 14: Poshina
Morning proceed for full day excursion with picnic
lunch to visit the Tribal villages. You will come
across hamlets of Bhils who claim 400 years of
history in the Aravallis and the Garacias - famous
for their colourful attires and artistic ornaments.
Pastoral tribes of this region include the Rabaries.
The typical craft of this area include tribal
arrow crafting, bow stringing, basket weaving
and pottery. You can shop here for silver jewellery,
local made knives and terra cotta figurines of
the tribal Horse God.Overnight at Poshina Castle.
Day 15: Poshina
/ Ahemadabad
Morning depart for Ahmedabad. On arrival check
in at hotel.Enjoy the lunch at hotel.Afternoon
proceed for sightseeing tour of city visiting
Teen Darwaza - a triple gateway 37 feet high built
by Sultan Ahmed, Jamma Masjid, the Hathi Singh
temple - a richly carved temple surrounded by
52 smaller temples Rani Sipri Mosque and Shaking
minarets. Evening enjoy the traditional Gujrati
dinner.Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Ahemadabad
/ Mumbai
Morning visit Sabarmati Ashram, Tribal museum
and Calico Textile museum. The Calico textile
museum is the only one of its kind in India, having
representative collection of traditional prints
and dyes from every centre in this country.Afternoon
at leisure. Evening transfer to the airport to
board flight for Mumbai. Meeting and assistance
on arrival and transfer to hotel.Overnight at

Day 17: Depart
Mumbai
