Kerala, a long
strip of enchanting land tucked away in the west
corner of India. The tall and exotic coconut palm
dominates Kerala’s landscape, as also its
economy. Kerala is situated near arabian sea,a
land of rivers and backwaters also. Forty four
rivers cut across the state with many tributaries
and branches. The backwaters form an attractive
and economically important feature of Kerala,
and include lakes and ocean inlets which stretch
irregularly along the coast offering hours of
pleasant boating amidst enchanting scenery. Kerala,
the verdant paradise, overflows with many natural
splendors – mountains and valleys, lush
paddy fields and lazy lagoons, hauntingly beautiful
beaches and backwaters, generous yields of marine
wealth and rich harvests of coconut The Southern
part of the peninsular India, due to their relative
isolation from the waves of forein invasions and
dynastic upheavals in Northern India, have largely
retained the beauty and purity of the vibrant
Dravidian cultures. A land of vivid colours, palm
fringed beaches hill – stations, spectacular
temples, backwater cruises, prolific wildlife
and offcourse friendly people.

Arrive at Cochin airport / railway station and
drive to Munnar. Afternoon arrive at Munnar
Day 2: Munnar
Morning half – day tour of Munnar visiting
the Indo Swiss Dairy farm project and spice Plantation.
Overnight at Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar -
Periyar
Take a boat ride on Lake Periyar this morning.
Witness the wildlife that surrounds the Lake.
Afternoon, walk in Periyar town and shop for some
fresh spice, which is produced in abundance in
the region. Overnight at Periyar.
Day 4: Periyar
Morning relax in Periyar. Afternoon boat ride
on Lake Periyar to witness the wild life that
surrounds the Lake. Overnight at Periyar.
Day 5: Periyar
- Kumarakom
Morning drive from Periyar to Kumarakom. Afternoon
relax in Kumarakom or walk around the paddy fields
that surround this Lake island. Overnight at Kumarakom.
Day 6: Kumarakom
- Mararikulam
Morning drive to Mararikulam. Relax by the beach.
Overnight at Mararikulam.
Day 7: Mararikulam
Full day free at Mararikulam. Overnight at Mararikulam.
Day 8: Mararikulam
- Cochin
Morning drive to Mararikulam to Cochin. Afternoon
city tour of Cochin. Overnight at Cochin.
Day 9: Overseas
Transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.
