One of the highlight of this tour
is to visit the high altitude Sikh Temple located
at Hemkund and is one of the important Sikh pilgrimage
spots in the Himalayas.
Day 1: Arrive
Delhi
On arrival in Delhi met at airport, garlanding
and transfer to the hotel. Later after breakfast
full day city tour of old and New Delhi visiting
Red Fort, Old Fort, Jumna Mosque, Qutab Minar,
Lotus Temple, Government Building , Laxmi Narayan
Temple and Janter Mantar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi -
Rishikesh
Early morning leave for Rishikesh enroute visiting
important Hindu temple at Haridwar (The Gateway
of Gods). Later drive to Rishikesh (capital of
Yoga in the world). The place is calm quite and
surrounded by hills on three side, the holy river
Ganges flowing through the town. With many Ashrams
and Sadhus along it’s sandy banks, this
is an excellent place to study Yoga, Meditation
and other aspects of Hinduism. Dinner and overnight
in the hotel.
Day 3: Rishikesh
- Joshimath
Morning after breakfast visit the Ashrams and
Temples lining the bank of the river Ganges. Visit
Ram Jhoola and Laxman Jhoola. Later drive to Joshimath,
enroute see the beautiful confluence of Bhagirathi
and Alaknanda rivers. Dinner and overnight at
the hotel.
Day 4: Joshimath
- Gangria
Morning after breakfast leave for Gangaria, enrouting
beautiful lovely temples and the breath taking
view of Himalyan range at Auli. On arrival in
Gangaria check into the Camp. Dinner and overnight
at Camp
Day 5: Gangria
– Hemkund Saheb - Gangria
Morning after breakfast trek up to Hemkund Lake
(5 Kms) to visit Gurdwara Hemkund Saheb. Day at
Hemkund Saheb. Later return to Gangria. Dinner
and overnight at Camp.
Day 6: Gangria
- Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast, leave for Rishikesh.
On arrival check into the hotel. Day free. Overnight
at the hotel
Day 7: Rishikesh
- Delhi
Morning after breakfast leave for Delhi. On arrival
transfer to International Airport to board onward
