Day 1: Delhi/Kolkata
- Dibrugarh - Pasighat
Assistance on arrival and drive then cross the
river Brahmaputra River by country made boat to
reach Pasighat. Evening free. Overnight at camp,
Pasighat.
Day 2:
Full day attend the inauguration events of 2nd
Brahmaputra Darshan. Evening attend the cultural
show and other events. Overnight Pasighat.
Day 3:
Morning attend traditional games and sports. Afternoon
visit Tribal villages. Overnight Pasighat.
Day 4:
Morning cross river Siang and drive to Roing.
On arrival at Roing, reception at the camping
site. In the evening attend cultural show followed
by cocktail and dinner party. Overnight at Roing.
Day 5:
After breakfast drive to Rehko, the main venue
to attend the Inaugural Ceremony of REH FESTIVAL
2002. On arrival at Rehko, traditional welcome
accorded to the guests. Remain in the Rehko premises
and participate in various traditional sports
and other entertainment activities until lunchtime.
Post lunch; visit Rehko to rejoin the celebration.
In the evening, visit some of the villages and
join in the traditional dances. Dinner and overnight,
Roing.
Day 6:
After breakfast drive to nearby villages and participate
in the celebration of the festival. Return to
Roing after joining them in the village community
feast. Post lunch, visit local market or at leisure.
Evening campfire followed by dinner. Overnight
Roing.
Day 7:
After early breakfast drive to Dibrugarh. Check
into Rukmini Island Tent Camps, 11 km up stream
from Dibrugarh in the mighty river Brahmaputra.
After lunch, do as you like – kayaking,
water scootering, water skiing, ski boarding,
para sailing, angling with local gear or with
a sophisticated tackle and rod or boating in country
boat or play beach volley ball or croquet in the
sand or ride a Mongoloid pony bare back. Evening
Rukmini, campfire followed by dinner. Overnight
Rukmini Island
Day 8:
After breakfast sail down to Dibrugarh and transfer
to Airport to connect flight to Delhi/Kolkatta.
